Getting Started

Journal Matrix is designed to make academic peer review efficient and insightful. This guide will help you navigate all features.

1. Guest Access

Click "Continue as Guest Reviewer" to start immediately. No account needed - all your data stays private on your device.

2. Dashboard Overview

Your dashboard shows all manuscripts assigned to you. Click "Continue Review" to work on any manuscript.

Manual Review Process

1. Section Ratings

Rate each section on a scale of 1-5 (1=Poor, 5=Excellent). Provide detailed comments for each section to help authors improve.

2. Final Recommendation

Choose from: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject. Guidelines are provided for each option.

3. Auto-Assessment

Click "Calculate Assessment" to see an AI-suggested score and recommendation based on your ratings.

4. Saving & Exporting

Save drafts anytime. Export your review as PDF or DOCX with professional formatting.

AI Auto-Reviewer

1. Upload Manuscript

Upload PDF or DOCX files (max 10MB). The AI will analyze your manuscript based on academic standards.

2. AI Guidelines

Configure what the AI should focus on: methodology, originality, ethics, statistics, literature review, and writing quality.

3. Review Report

The AI generates a comprehensive report with critical issues, suggestions, strengths, and an overall assessment.

4. Export Options

Export the AI report as PDF or DOCX. Premium users get reports without "SAMPLE" watermarks.
